Summer Medicine Dance with Journey Work

Our Summer Dance is held in the Spirit of community, holding ourselves and all we are connected to in tenderness. Allowing a natural releasing and opening to wide open Summer Sun to revitalize our being in all the right ways. 🙌
The dance is held in a ceremonial way, giving safety for each one to let go to their process and find the movement and life energy awaiting.

 Gabrielle Roth (pioneer of ecstatic dance) was well known for emphasizing the relationship between discipline and freedom. Her challenge to us, “do you have the discipline to be a free spirit?” As we step into ceremony, the invitation is always to stay with ourselves even as we revisit difficult emotions and experiences. That’s the Spirit of the Dance, to trust in the intelligence of the body so that we can open to life anew!

Details:
Dance – 12:00 to 7pm on Friday 16th December (Public holiday), dinner afterwards.
Fee: R1200 per person supper. Accommodation option additional R 500. Limited places.

Ryan & Leeane have been involved in the field of plant medicines and healing for over 15 years. They each found various forms of movement and dance in their early twenties including, Sun dance in Brazil, For the One Dance, Movement Medicine, 5hythms and Osho’s dynamic meditation. They have a love for Ceremonial Dance and creating a space for people to support one another.

About the ceremony: We draw on all our combined experience and skills and share this in one event. We incorporate our work with Family constellations and movement as a therapy for healing. This particular dance has been evolving over the last 6 years, we have been refining and allowing it to naturally blossom into what it is today.
